Emily’s UES Pet Care is an independent pet sitting company for dogs and cats on the Upper East Side. Whether your pup needs a midday check-in while you're in the office, or you're looking for a pet nanny while you're out of town, I offer a range of services to choose from-- including dog walks, drop-ins, and in-home sitting.
I also provide hourly services for out-of-town visitors. Want to leave your pup at the hotel while you go sight-seeing? I can hang out with your pup in the room, or take them out for their own excursion while you're out.
My personalized approach means every pet receives individualized care tailored to their specific needs and preferences.
When you book with me, everything is included in your services. If your dog needs their teeth brushed every morning, or your cat’s meals need to be made from scratch, you can trust that it’ll be taken care of at no extra charge.
All services also include: - Photo updates - Complimentary safety items as needed (paw wax, collar lights, Airtags) - Private insurance (through Pet Care Insurance) - Allergy-safe treats upon request (for daycare clients)

Hi, I’m Emily, an experienced pet sitter and a new(er) dog mom.
Growing up, I never had a dog of my own, so I got my fix caring for pets for neighbors and family friends. I later fell in love with pet care and training when I finally got my mini golden doodle Hazel in 2023.
I started out sitting on Rover to find friends with her to play with, and after about two years, I decided to start my own pet care business. As a crazy dog mom, I know how hard it is to trust someone with your pet. I have extremely high standards when looking for pet care for my own pup, and I hold myself to the same standard.
Outside of UES Pet Care, I also volunteer with PAWS NY, an organization dedicated to keeping pets in their homes by providing pet care services to vulnerable NYC residents.

Emily was one of the best dog walkers I’ve ever had! Both Frankie and I adore her. She’s very kind, compassionate and competent. I hope to use her again on my future trips to NY!

What to know about my services and policies before you book
A complimentary meet & greet is required for all new clients. This time is important for me to get to know your pet(s) and let them get comfortable with me before the booking. We'll also spend this time reviewing needs and expectations. For drop-in requests, we may be able to arrange a virtual meet & greet.
Payments are invoiced directly after a booking is completed. I accept cash, Venmo, and Zelle.
Although I love all dogs, I'm unable to provide services for dogs with a bite history. Daycare clients are subject to the following requirements: - Must be under 15-lbs - Must be neutered (some exceptions may be made for females under 2) - Vaccine records must be provided (Rabies, Bordatella, DA2PP)
I require 24 hours notice for all bookings and cancellations. Last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours) may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. I understand emergencies happen - please contact me as soon as possible if you need to make changes. For holidays, the required notice period is extended to 7 days.
